Synergy were chosen to supply a lighting package for the office space throughout the building. Working closely with the electrical contractor, First Call Electrical, the design team created a solution that complimented the building and met the challenges presented.

As part of Synergy’s offering to our clients the whole lighting package is taken care of, starting with a site visit and survey. Floorplans are then handed over to the Synergy design team who use specialised lighting design software to create a lighting scheme that gives the correct light levels across the space. Along with this they undertake all the calculations involved for the lighting and also calculations for emergency lighting levels if applicable. At design stage there was a number of revisions before final designs were approved.
The client was also keen for the lighting to comply with the latest glare regulations, meaning that the scheme required a UGR rating below 19. The design team welcomed the challenge and set about finding the best solution – this was the point at which our UGR<19 compliant low glare LED linear was born!
